Merino has a number of advantages, thanks to which you do not need to wash it so often. How to do it when it is needed after all?
Our Merino for autumn and winter 🍂
100% natural pieces to snuggle up in. Soft linen that will keep you warm . The wool that doesn't bite .
That's how I dreamed of a collection for cold days. Merino fulfills all these requirements. I was looking for a supplier whose fabrics correspond exactly to the quality required by MOONIA. The main aspect for me was that the sheep do not suffer in these farms and the combing of the wool is kind to the animals. It finally worked out. Our supplier is from Argentina (the yarn is produced in Finland) and has certifications for sustainable handling and production.
How to care for Merino
- You can wear our underwear for several days in a row. Merino repels odors. It also neutralizes sweat.
- But ventilate it regularly so that you feel fresh in it every time.
- You can get rid of minor dirt just like that. Often it is enough to wipe them off.
When you're going to do the laundry, but...
- Only in hand or for gentle programs . If your washing machine can do it, choose the one for wool.
- Turn the laundry inside out, or place it in a laundry bag.
- Temperature max. 30° . Clothes may shrink at higher temperatures.
- Choose a liquid gel designed specifically for Merino. For example, the one from Jelen (it even smells nice on its own).
- Fabric softener or anything else is not needed.
- Reduce the number of revolutions.
- Dry naturally in the air and ideally in a horizontal position. Clothes can be pulled out on the hanger!
- Merino definitely does not belong in the dryer. Again – these are high temperatures and they can destroy the fabric.
