Over the past few months, I've expanded my range, I've gained more followers on social networks, so I'd like to write you some answers to the most frequent questions you have about the products and the brand.
AND THAT'S SERIOUSLY FOR SLEEPING?
Not only. Actually, that was the first thought - to have a snazzy comfortable nightgown. So I had it sewn and at the same time I started to discover what it's like to sleep in linen (it's love - it's soft, I don't sweat, for summer and winter.. but more on the properties next time).
And as I tried different weights and discovered new patterns, I gradually fell in love with beautiful designer fabrics, and the white linen nightgown became linen clothes that are a shame to sleep in (as some customers say).
MOONIA has thus become part of your daily wardrobe, whether you wear it only at home or combine it with trousers for work. This way you get a piece for your wardrobe that you can use differently every time. As you wish.
AND DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING FOR THE HUSBAND?
I originally started with a shirt for myself, so that I could move from the bedroom to the study and start a team skype in five minutes.. then I also had shorts made for my husband. And he convinced me that I definitely had to have a men's collection as well. That he would wear it all the time.. So..
Men's cuts are ready and we offer the Pure men's shirt, trousers and shorts on the website.
And for children?
Together with Eva Deutsch from DEKIDS to prepare the PETTŸ children's collection. So I offer pajamas for children aged 1-2, 3 and 4-5 years. And also some beautiful Stella scarves for girls (from 3 years old). They have beautiful ruffles and I am so excited about them. If I have a daughter, then I will definitely keep them and in a few years she will wear them.
LEN, it's more for summer, right?
It is not! Flax has thermoregulatory properties. It cools in summer and warms in winter. Most people associate it with the summer months, an unbuttoned shirt, the beach, vacations, running around the garden. But make no mistake. Linen is also perfect for the winter months. Long pants, a long-sleeved top, a floor-length shirt, and you won't want to take it off. Keeps you warm! Can you already see yourself in an armchair with tea, strudel and a book?
BUT LEN IS A LOT OF CATCHES, RIGHT?
Yes. It is his characteristic.
AND WHAT MAKES LEN SO EXCEPTIONAL? (this question is mostly asked by men, I understand, it's about facts)
Thus:
1. is hypoallergenic
It is a 100% natural material. It does not cause allergic reactions and is extremely resistant to bacteria and mites. It resists mold, the fabric repels dust and pollen. Thanks to the oil content, it has a beneficial effect on the skin. It is recommended for allergy sufferers and asthmatics, as well as people with skin problems and children.
2. it is 100% recyclable and environmentally friendly
Flax fiber does not need to be fertilized or treated with pesticides. Its fibers are 100% recyclable and degradable. Up to 80% of the world's flax production comes from Europe, so it doesn't have to travel halfway around the world to us. The cultivation of flax is very gentle on the soil and, unlike the production of cotton, for example, does not require extensive irrigation or fertilization.
3. it is durable
The durability of linen is one of its best advantages. Linen withstands frequent wear and washing; very delicate fabrics can be damaged if handled carelessly, but they will last longer than equally delicate cotton or silk materials. You will appreciate it especially with linen bedding.
4. will soften even more over time
With each wash and use, the linen yarn becomes softer and lighter, but this does not detract from the quality. It easily happens that over time you don't even recognize that you are wearing linen clothes. For example, nothing beats sleeping in linen sheets!
5. less dirty!
Linen fibers are straight and smooth, so less dirt gets inside the fabric. It also resists pollen and ambient dust.
AND DO YOU SEW IT?
Anyway, I'm lucky enough to work with two skilled seamstresses who have patience with me and manage my messiness. So thank God for Markéta and Hank! (At the same time, the answer to the question of whether the products are sewn in the Czech Republic - yes, they are!)
Linen deserves its place in your wardrobe, even if you feel that it is not trendy enough, the opposite is true. Len is rightfully returning to the limelight thanks to its properties.
