At Moonia, we believe that everyone can make a small contribution to a better planet. By doing business in the clothing industry, which is the biggest polluter of our planet, we pay even more attention to the quality of materials, ethical conditions during production and the locality of products.

Natural materials

Since the beginning, we have specialized in linen clothing, gradually we started adding certified cotton, Tencel Lyocell, Ecovero viscose. Everything is handmade with an emphasis on sustainability and longevity. We strongly believe in the power of small steps to build a more positive textile and fashion industry. From the careful sourcing of materials to the craftsmanship of each piece, we strive to make a positive impact every step of the way. Our mission is simple but profound: to provide long-lasting, quality products that align with your values ​​and resonate with your unique essence.

LEN, our love

Flax is a natural fiber made from the flax plant, a renewable resource that grows even in poor soil and usually does not require chemical pesticides. The production of flax uses the whole plant, so it leaves no waste. Linen is fully biodegradable and easily recyclable, making it one of the most sustainable materials in the world.

Certification

Textile production can be a complex process that involves various treatments and chemicals that can be harmful to the environment and to you. Our products are at least Oeko-Tex certified, which means that they do not contain any harmful substances and chemicals.

Local production

All our linen products are produced locally in Prague in a sewing workshop, thereby minimizing the impact of CO2 from transport. Our important sustainability goal is to minimize waste by repurposing most textile scraps and using them to make smaller items such as shopping bags, organisers, elastics, headbands and the like.
